One Foundation for Three Museums

The Canada Science and Technology Museums Corporation Foundation promotes philanthropic support of the Canada Science and Technology Museums Corporation and its three museums: the Canada Agriculture Museum, the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, and the Canada Science and Technology Museum.

With funds for core operations of these three national treasures provided by the Government of Canada through the Department of Canadian Heritage and through earned revenues, private-sector support through the Foundation is evidence of the importance that Canadians give to these national museums.

Foundation funds are used for special programs and projects, new initiatives and seed funding, the acquisition of artifacts or complete collections, outreach initiatives to extend the Museums to wider audiences, and unique capital investments beyond the scope of normal funding.

The Foundation believes that a major increase in private funding is required if the Museums are to realize their full potential as Canada’s premier science and technology, aviation and space, and agriculture museums.

The Museums depend on the generosity of individuals, corporations, community groups and associations to reach their full potential. Fully tax-deductible gifts and can be directed to each of the Museums and to specific programs within each.
